Class Descriptions

Pole

Starting with Level 1 for absolute beginners and those returning to exercise, we currently have 8 levels of Pole classes to keep you poling for the rest of your life!

In each level, you will learn cool pole moves, fun floor work and epic base work. You’ll learn to put these moves together in combos to increase your strength and coordination.

Each level has core moves which will master before being invited to Level UP!

As the weeks progress, we'll challenge our brains as we dance* our way into fitness with a fun routine! This will give you greater strength and fitness as a whole; you will have stronger muscles, including your heart muscle, giving you better endurance to make everyday tasks easier! Watch your confidence grow!

It’s so much fun, you won’t even care that it’s exercise!

*There are many styles of Pole Dance, from Classic and Exotic to Contemporary and Lyrical. If you can think of a style of dance, we can teach you to put it with pole moves into a routine and therefore a Pole Dance.

Conditioning

Conditoning is a series of exercises using our dance poles as a prop. Your teacher will lead you through a series of drills that will strengthen your whole body and help improve your posture, balance and fitness levels. It can also help prevent injuries from other activities.

This class is for students with zero pole or fitness skills as well as students of higher levels. It is a conditioning class for those who want to progress faster and for those waiting for the next Level 1 Pole course to open. Each class is tailored to the individual students, whether you’re taking this class by itself or as a complement to your Pole Dance classes.

Floor Play

Really up-level your body confidence in this chorey class with Bree.

You will dance in a new style every 2 weeks so you can find the style you vibe with best. You will learn floor based moves which you can use to up-level your routines. :) Or you can simply enjoy this fun workout.

Bring heels or socks and come prepared for laughter.

PS. Going up the pole is not required, making Floor Play perfect for students at every level!

Happy Hips Club (Yoga)

This is not your stereotypical quiet yoga class. There is laughter, there is support from your classmates and there are (slightly risqué) cues you won’t hear outside of a yoga class in a pole studio!

Whether you have the flexibility of a brick or a noodle, you will stretch your body, you will strengthen your body and you will leave with a clearer head, often resulting in the best night’s sleep of your week.

Jen will offer a variety of modifications and you will be encouraged to play in the poses find the variation that feels best in your body, at the time of each class. A key premise of yoga is to be not attached to the outcomes - by showing up on your mat, you’ve already got 100%. So why not give it a go?
