How do I book?
It's super-easy to book- just go to one of the Book Now links on this website, DM us on Facebook or Instagram or give us a phone call! We love to chat about your health and fitness goals and want to make sure we can help you!

How much does it cost?
Our group class prices are determined by the duration of your class: 60 minutes or 90 minutes. We offer single class passes, with significant discounts for term enrolments and even more for 3, 6 or 12 month Memberships. Private lessons go for one hour and the price is determined by the number of students per lesson: 1, 2 or 3 people. Four people in a private lesson are charged at the group class rate, so why not get a group of friends together for a regular workout? ;)

What should I wear and/or bring to a pole class?
We recommend coming along with an open mind and a positive attitude!! Normal workout clothes are the staple – we do recommend wearing shorts that are above the knee (they can be tight or baggy – whatever you are comfortable with!) as you use the skin behind your knee to grip on to the pole. There is no need to wear ‘short shorts’ initially but as you get more comfortable with your body and in our environment, we can’t guarantee you won’t be enticed by the great range of shorts we have on sale in the studio!!  Our beginners do the classes barefoot but as students progress up in levels they may choose to wear high heels when working on routines. High heels are in no way mandatory!

Can any age group start pole dancing or do you have a limit?
We do not have age restrictions; however, those under 18 must have signed parent/guardian consent (for legal & insurance purposes).

I’m not sure if I’m ready for Pole, how can I tell?

What's involved in a typical pole beginners class?
We have a set syllabus of tricks we teach over our 12-week beginner courses – starting off easier and getting progressively more challenging. These tricks are designed to work mostly your upper body and core – as well as giving you a sense of achievement when you ‘nail’ a new move!! Classes typically start with a cardio and stretch-based warm-up, then you learn a series of techniques and tricks. Throughout the term, you will work on a simple and fun routine to link some of your tricks together. Twice a year, you can invite your friends and family to see you perform at Showcase!

How long till you can see results?
You’d be surprised how quickly results can be seen – the easiest way to notice is trying a trick you learnt in the first week in, say, the third week, and realising how much easier it is (and how much strength you have built up!) If you are committed to your classes, and follow a healthy diet, you should see results in terms of weight-loss and toning (if applicable) by then end of your first term. In increase in upper body and core strength is normally noticed after as little as a few weeks! An increase in confidence is generally noticed after your first class!!! Taking photos and videos is a great way to enable you to look back and check your progress.

Should you have a particular body type to be able to do pole dancing?
Not at all!! Anyone can do, and has done, pole dancing!! There are benefits for everyone! People with a higher body weight may find that some things take them slightly longer (as we do have to hold our body weight off the ground!) but our teachers and classes are very encouraging and supportive – we all realise everyone has their own pace. We have had a wide range of students from very tiny frames to quite large ones – and everyone manages to have a great time!!

Is there a weight restriction at all?
No. Our poles are all very secure and regularly checked. They have been tested to extremely large weights. We have students of all shapes and sizes – see previous question on body type for more information.

How do you progress from level to level?
We have a ‘guide’ to tricks which you should be able to execute (with correct technique) in order to move from level to level. Towards the end of each term, your teacher will assess you and have a chat to the students to discuss if you are ready for the challenges of the next level or not. Everyone progresses at a different rate and our wide range of levels and flexible syllabus caters for this.

How long is the break between pole terms?
We do not break between pole terms! We do have a 4 week break over the Christmas/New Year period where we usually run a reduced timetable. :)

Where do you recommend I get pole clothes?
From us! We sell pole wear to suit the whole range of body shapes and sizes. We can even arrange for special modifications made for trans women. Currently, brands we sell in the studio are Rarr Designs and Lunalae. Check out their websites and place your order in-studio if we don’t already have what you’re after!
